About this Blogger

Bio: I first came to Hanover College in 2000 from my hometown of Clinton, S.C. Art History and Studio Art captured my interest and I graduated in 2004 with a major in both subjects. I received my master of fine arts degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2007 specializing in printmaking and drawing. Shortly after earning my master's degree, I started working in the Hanover College Office of Admission and Financial Assistance.

I am still a practicing artist and am more than happy to be living in the lively community of Madison, Ind. Recently, I accompanied a group of Hanover students on a whitewater rafting trip on the New River in West Virginia. Currently, I am the admission counselor for all transfer students and traditional students from several schools in Indianapolis, Ind., all of northwest Indiana (from Putnam County north, west and south of St. Joseph County), Illinois, Missouri and the central United States. Deb Whistler is my hero–just saying.

I really enjoyed her show and I am looking forward to seeing what Leticia has to offer here pretty soon :)

You should do a show in there! I was at Laura’s the other night for dinner and saw some of your pieces. I really, really liked the one above mantle in the dining room!

I am excited about Leticia’s show too! She has been using some really fun materials lately, and some of her things have been installed at the Feed Mill in downtown Madison recently.
I am glad you like my work, and I like that piece a lot… it is pretty recent. I do show in the Greiner gallery occasionally. Whenever we have alumni shows I do my best to have pieces in there, and I had a solo show in the gallery back in the Fall of 2007. I would love to have more, but I don’t want to monopolize the gallery. :)
I am working on getting a flikr account so that I can share more of my work online.
